Merchandise Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Merchandising Specialist to join our team. The Merchandising Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that our products are displayed in an attractive and organized manner, maximizing sales and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a passion for creating visually appealing displays.

Duties:
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to effectively showcase products
- Create visually appealing displays that highlight product features and benefits
- Ensure proper stock levels are maintained on the sales floor
- Follow schematics and planograms to accurately set up displays
- Collaborate with the retail sales team to identify product placement opportunities
- Operate cash register and process customer transactions as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor
- Assist with training development for new merchandising team members
- Supervise and provide guidance to merchandising team members

Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail merchandising or a related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator or other graphic design software is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and complete tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of retail sales principles and customer service best practices
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain visual standards
