Mercedes Benz Technician

MBI is looking for a full time, experienced technician. We are an established company, since 1969, that works on 300+ vehicles per month. We use the CDK (ADP) repair order system and the Multi-Point Estimating Software. Both software systems are relatively easy to use and we can provide a training tutorial.

We are looking for an experienced diagnostic technician that understands the terms and theories behind voltage reference function, logic chain function, CAN data bus function and parasitic battery drain. The kind of technician we are looking for should feel confident with their background to apply past acquired diagnostic skills and be able to learn about product specific issues. MBI pays for multiple subscriptions from the manufactures and third party companies that can be searched to find information, common issues, wiring diagrams and repair work instructions quickly and efficiently. Diagnostics and the ability to repair malfunctions should also include knowledge in chassis/suspension noises, oil leaks repairs, coolant system, emissions, ignition, engine timing, diesel and gasoline high pressure fuel delivery systems, climate control and air conditioning. There will be plenty of work performing services and replacing items such as brakes, filters, water pumps, coolant lines, belt driven components, just to name a few.

This position will include the use of a 2 post lift and a scissor lift. There is also an industrial work bench with a vise.

We only work on Mercedes Benz, BMW, Smart and Mini.

• XENTRY - Fully authorized and updated by Mercedes Benz
• ISTA - Fully Authorized and update by BMW
• Ability to code and perform SCN and VIN coding for TRP parts (Valve Bodies, Engine Modules, DME, BCM, SAM, Steering Locks, EIS to name a few)
• Tool Boxes full of Manufacture Specific Special Application Tools.
• Hunter Alignment Rack with Wireless Heads.

• Snap on Tire Balancer with Road Force Balancing
• PICO scope
• Extra Large Genesis Hot Parts Washer

• A/C air conditioning equipment with R1234yf and R134a capacities.
• Several Snap on Alternator/Starter/Battery testers with charging capabilities.

Expected range of salary is between $85,000 - $150,000 per year. This being calculated on experience and tenure. Mercedes Benz and BMW experience is a plus, but not necessary. Salary is negotiable either hourly or flat rate based on 80-100 hours per 2 week pay period. Hours of operation are between 7:30-5:00 Monday through Friday. Please email brandon723@gmail.com.
