We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior MEP Lead to join our team. The Senior MEP Lead will play a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing aspects of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of MEP systems, extensive project management experience, and a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the MEP design and coordination process, collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and other project stakeholders.
2. Manage and oversee the development of detailed MEP drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
3. Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems with architectural and structural elements.
4. Conduct thorough reviews of MEP designs to ensure compliance with project requirements, building codes, and industry standards.
5. Provide technical expertise during project meetings and liaise with clients to understand their specific MEP needs and requirements.
6. Manage the MEP project budget, schedule, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
7. Oversee the selection of MEP systems, equipment, and materials, considering efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
8. Perform site visits and assessments to ensure proper installation and functioning of MEP systems during construction.
9. Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements in MEP technology, and emerging best practices.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering from an accredited institution.
2. Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in MEP design and coordination within an architectural or engineering firm.
3. Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
4. Proven project management experience with the ability to lead and coordinate MEP aspects of projects from conception to completion.
5. Comprehensive knowledge of MEP systems, codes, and standards.
6. Proficiency in MEP design software and tools.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
9. Familiarity with sustainable design principles and LEED certification is a plus.
