We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Project Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to join our team. As an MEP Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects from initiation to completion. Your expertise in MEP engineering, combined with your project management skills, will be crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage MEP projects from start to finish, including project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and review project proposals, contracts, and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, quality, and adherence to design specifications and safety protocols.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular cost reports to stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and implement effective risk management strategies.
- Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, resolving technical issues and ensuring compliance with design intent.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business opportunities.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and best practices in MEP engineering and project management.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or related field).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP engineering and project management.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Proven track record in successfully managing and delivering MEP projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
