Stellar Care and Services is hiring DSP/ Mentors to provide services to individuals in their homes and communities in the Fort Collins and Loveland Areas. This rewarding position offers tons of flexibility and room for growth.
Job purpose: DSP/Mentors assist and support Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their community while they participate in activities, learn
new life skills, and assist individuals in reaching their personal goals.
Essential job duties: DSP/Mentors are an invaluable member of Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities' team. You will provide transportation to and from activities in your own car and ensure safety within the community. DSP/Mentors provide individuals with companionship and support during service hours, teach and assist with life skills, and provide assistance with self-care and personal care as needed. DSP/Mentors assist participants in working toward their personal goals.
Job types: Flexible schedule with the possibility for full-time work.
Schedule: This position has flexible hours.
Compensation: $16.25-$18.50 with mileage reimbursement.

Applicants Must:
- Have obtained a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Have a good driving record (defined as no more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years)
- Have a safe and reliable vehicle
- Be willing to transport individuals in your personal vehicle
- Carry appropriate vehicle insurance
- Be able to work independently and in cooperation with others
- Be able to lift and transfer 50-75 lbs.
- 1 year working or advocating for individuals with Disabilities is preferred but not required
- Availability to work in Loveland and Fort Collins
