Job Description

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for Camber Children’s Mental Health provides compassionate care and supervision of children and youth. As a BHT you will provide support to help young people achieve their treatment goals through daily activities, teach them coping techniques and positive behavior skills. You can expect to work closely with nurses and therapist in reinforcing treatment plans, documenting client activity, and maintaining a safe environment.

Must be 20 years old to apply. Background check and pre-employment drug screen required.

Pay Rate:

Pay for this position starts at $15.00 hourly and increases based on a combination of education and experience.

Schedule/Hours:

PRN (Pro Re Nata) staff work as needed without a set schedule. They are required to work one scheduled shift per month in order to maintain this form of employment.

Education:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) from an accredited high school

Licensure/Certification:

Valid Driver's License and auto insurance.

Experience/requirements:

To be considered for PRN work, candidates must have completed at least six months in their current role, have a satisfactory rating on their most recent performance review, and be free of any current performance improvement plans or corrective action plans.
