AMFM Healthcare is seeking Group Facilitators as part of our curriculum of care for clients at our residential mental health treatment facilities. AMFM Healthcare is looking for those who can effectively teach a group of clients how to learn and maintain a more stable life while undergoing their mental health treatment program. We are looking for those who have experience leading groups such as CBT, DBT, Trauma, Psychodrama, and any other subjects that pertain to the Mental Health Field. We are specifically looking for fully licensed clinicians (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, Psy.D w/ license).
The Group Facilitator is a 1099 contracted position or part time position and will facilitate groups throughout the week. Our program runs groups from 10:00am-12:00pm or 1:00pm-3:00pm PST and scheduling can be flexible.

Group Facilitation Job Duties:
The Group Facilitator facilitates weekly group therapy sessions utilizing evidenced based practices for our mental health and/or trauma specific program. Applicants MUST have experience working with acute clients that often have co-occurring mood disorders, substance use, and severe suicidal ideation. Experience working in a trauma informed care setting is a plus.
- Facilitates mental health based groups with up to 6 clients.
- Teach clients coping skills and strategies to enable them to deal with challenging and traumatic experiences.
- Provide services in accordance to organization’s policies and procedures and established Mental Health and Substance Abuse Standards as well as within the scope of practice of the Group Facilitator.
- Completes documentation within the agency's 24 hour standard submission time requirement.
- Complete charting and documentation in accordance with documentation policies and procedures within 24 hours of completion of clinical session.
- Assess clients for suicidal and other risks.
- Collaborates with other professionals on the client's treatment team to develop, coordinate, or integrate treatment plans.
- Maintaining detailed records of patients' progress as well as observations made during art therapy sessions.
- Adheres to any and all Joint Commission and California DHCS and DSS standards.
- Adhere to organizational standards and policies and procedures, code of ethics, legal aspects of clinical practice, professional standards, duty to warn, abuse and neglect reporting policies and procedures and exercise professionalism at all times.
Education, Experience, License & Registration Requirements:
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psy.D (with license).
- Currently registered with Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check (LiveScan).
- CBT, DBT, Trauma, Psychodrama experience preferred.
