Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Mental Health Therapist. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed therapist to provide direct counseling services to clients dealing with a range of Mental Health concerns. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and facilitate therapeutic interventions to support clients in achieving their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ Mental Health needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and supervisors
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches
- Monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions and progress notes
- Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to ensure holistic care for clients
- Stay informed about best practices and developments in the field of Mental Health therapy
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Eligibility for licensure or registration (MFT-I, CPC-I, LCPC, LCSW) as a Mental Health Therapist in Nevada
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients
- Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Experience working or volunteering in a Mental Health setting is preferred but not required
Compensation:
- Expected annual wage $58,000 – $78,000 dependent on experience and licensure.
- Compensation is determined on an hourly basis between Client Sessions and Administrative Work.
- Entitled to Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holiday pay.
- Eligible for annual raises and performance based bonuses.
