• Competitive compensation including generous weekend and shift differentials.
• Full and part-time positions available as well as per diem opportunities.
• Day, Evening and Night shifts available.
• Every other weekend required as well as floating to other units when needed. Holiday rotation is also required.

How You Care for Our Patients
As a Mental Health Technician, you will be an active participant in the health care team who provides direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians. Responsibilities include:

• Work with patients and assisting nursing and clinical services with patient treatment plans.
• Assist with the implementation of treatment plans, including but not limited to documenting goals and interventions.
• Maintain a safe therapeutic milieu on Inpatient Psychiatric units.
• Conduct safety checks, monitor patients, assist with ADL's, de-escalate acute situations, and provide supportive interactions with patients.
• Make decisions that impact the lives of your peers, your patients, and your community.

You Bring Meaningful Experience
Successful candidates will have the following:

• High school diploma; bachelor's degree in Mental Health, Human Services, or related field preferred.
• Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to develop a therapeutic relationship while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Previous experience in psychiatric or substance inpatient, restraint reduction de-escalation, and crisis intervention is preferred.
• Conduct patient observation and rounds.
• Assists staff with patient care while following treatment plans.
• Observe and monitor patient's progress and reports observations to staff.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living skills, as necessary.
• Provide appropriate supervision of patients' activities.
• Responsible for safety monitoring of patients of the unit.
• Process admissions belongings.
• Complete documentation in the EMR system.
• Facilitate patient groups.
