Salt Lake Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate team player for our Mental/Behavioral Health Technician position in our new Adolescent Outpatient Program.
Shifts: Evenings (3) 4 hr shifts 3:30pm-7:30pm M,W,TH
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hr dependent on education and experience

The Mental/Behavioral Health Tech functions as an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients ranging in age from 7-12 years old. The MHT in our Adolescent Outpatient Program will work under the direction of our Program Therapist and APRN.
Qualifications
Mental/Behavioral Health Tech Qualifications:
- Education: High School Degree or equivalent required. Certified Nursing Assistant preferred; Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, recreational therapy or appropriate therapeutic discipline preferred.
- Experience: One year of related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness, preferred, NOT required. Additional experience working with adolescents is strongly preferred.
- Licensure: Must maintain a valid driver's license in the applicable state if transporting patients.
