Salary Range: $55,755.00/year-$69,136.00/year**APPLICANT MUST HAVE A VALID, UNRESTRICTED INSURABLE DRIVERS LICENSE**

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides diagnostic, treatment, referral, crisis intervention, treatment plans and consultation services for mental/behavioral health patients in accordance with standards established by professional licensure and the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) Standards.
  • Conducts individual, family and group psychotherapy for adults, children, and adolescents. Services are to be provided to patients with a wide variety of acute and chronic MENTAL HEALTH problems including depression, suicide attempts, bereavement, psychotic episodes, family conflicts, substance abuse or dependence and trauma.
  • Coordinates service provision to patients and consults with professional colleagues as needed to promote optimal patient care including appropriate referrals for psychiatric evaluation or medication.
  • Participates in scheduled case conferences and treatment plan review.
  • Responsible for documentation of systems direct and in-direct patient care in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) within 24 hours of service This includes but is not limited to assessments and treatment plan, reports, progress notes, case management, consultations, and other patient related information. This documentation should be relevant to the patient's continuum of care.
  • Practices according to the Mental Health professional code of ethics.
  • Participates in and/or initiates educational, preventive, or advocacy efforts in the community on behalf of mental/behavioral health needs of patients and the community.
  • Works with community resources to promote the cooperation and collaboration of community, tribal and government agencies to develop a better understanding of community mental/behavioral health needs and a more efficient mental/behavioral health program.
  • Provides consultation to personnel, health professionals, and public and private resource agencies to assist patients in resolving medical, social, familial, and emotional problems as needed.
  • Works with community resources to promote the cooperation and collaboration of community, tribal and government agencies to develop a better understanding of community MENTAL HEALTH needs and provide more efficient mental/behavioral health services.
  • Contributes to program planning, development and evaluation of MENTAL HEALTH services in conjunction with other mental/behavioral health staff and other community service workers, (i.e., police, probation officer, social workers, etc.).
  • Participates in committee, departmental, and team meetings.
  • Required to provide rotational on-call coverage and crisis interventions at night and weekends.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

MANDATORY MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
One (1) year of direct work experience as a state licensed professional in a mental/behavioral health setting.
Education:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy or related field.
Active and unrestricted State licensure in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, and Substance Abuse Counseling.
