Job Description
As the Mental Health Receptionist, you will perform various administrative tasks to support the Director of Mental Health and the Head of Service Staff. Your role is essential in ensuring the smooth running of the Mental Health department, and your contribution will be crucial in providing high-quality care to our residents. Your duties will include:
Job Duties:
- Organize meetings efficiently and effectively.
- Take accurate minutes.
- Create meeting agendas and memos in advance.
- Review and respond to Mental Health directors' emails as needed.
- Follow up on requests made to the Mental Health Department.
- Schedule appointments.
- Copy and scan documents.
- Contact the courts to ensure JV's received.
- Complete JV 220 (non-medical completes).
- Ensure labs are received and forwarded to Doctors for review.
- Coordinate with Social Workers.
- Coordinate with Staff(Mental Health and non-Mental Health).
- Manage projects.
- Create and maintain databases.
- Directing staff members and phone calls to appropriate personnel.
- Follow up on personnel interviews.
- Cleaning and maintaining Mental Health facilities.
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Associate's, Bachelors Degree, or Certification in a similar field. (Preferred)
- Previous experience in a healthcare or Mental Health setting is preferred. (Required)
- Strong organizational and time management skills. (Required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. (Required)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards. (Required)
- Proficiency in calendar management and project coordination. (Required)
- Clerical skills, including front desk duties, customer service, transcribing, and typing. (Required)
