Pathway Caring for Children has an immediate need for a licensed Mental Health Counselor Therapist at Fairless Local Schools located in Navarre, Ohio Stark County.

POSITION OVERVIEW: School based Mental Health professionals play a crucial role in creating a supportive and inclusive school culture, addressing Mental Health issues early, and fostering the overall well-being of students. The presence of these individuals contribute to the broader goal of creating a positive and conducive learning environment. School based Mental Health staff work closely with teachers and other school staff to not only support the overall well-being of students, but also to discuss student progress and develop strategies to support the students.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 21 years of age.
• Bachelor's or master's degree
• Licensure by the State of Ohio in Behavioral Health Counseling and Therapy (LISW, LPCC, LSW, or LPC)
• At least six months' experience working with children.
• Valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and meet our auto insurance coverage requirements.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide Individual Counseling Sessions
• Crisis Situation Support System.
• Collaboration with school staff
• Develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Implement prevention programs
