Job Description
We are seeking a Master Level Clinician with either a provisional or independent Mental Health license to join our dedicated team. As a key member of our Mental Health services, the ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in providing individual and group therapy, excellent documentation skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Individual Therapy:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' Mental Health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' goals and challenges.
- Facilitate one-on-one counseling sessions to address a variety of Mental Health concerns.
- Group Therapy:
- Lead therapeutic groups to provide support and guidance in a group setting.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and execute effective group interventions.
- Foster a safe and inclusive group environment that encourages open communication and growth.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including assessment notes, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in documentation practices.
- Regularly review and update treatment plans based on clients' progress and evolving needs.
- Professionalism:
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to ethical and professional conduct in all interactions.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, Social Workers, and other Mental Health professionals.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and emerging trends in Mental Health care.
- Client Advocacy:
- Advocate for clients' rights and access to appropriate Mental Health services.
- Collaborate with external agencies and organizations to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
- Participate in case conferences and treatment planning meetings to ensure a holistic approach to client well-being.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
- An active RI provisional or independent Mental Health license (LMHCA, LCSW, LMFTA, LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, or Psychologist).
- Experience in providing individual and group therapy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Knowledge of relevant ethical guidelines and legal requirements in Mental Health practice.
- Strong desire to grow in clinical skills.
