REQUIREMENTS: Current South Carolina Cosmetology OR Barbers License – Minimum 3 years’ experience – Must have proficiency in all types of hair services (including but not limited to: foiling, balayage, long and short haircuts, glossing and color matching, chemical services like Keratins and perms, men’s haircuts, kids haircuts) - An existing book of clients that reaches at least 25-33% capacity – Social media with engaged presence (number of follows does not matter) – Strong proficiency in Social Media including taking pictures, captioning, and light editing – Strong with time management and very punctual (15 minutes early is on-time) -- Solutions focused, able to work on team with 6-13 members – Keep personal area clean and an active participant with working sidework (our motto: you use it, you clean it), an inclusive over exclusive mentality.
EXPECTATIONS: Beyond day-to-day tasks and performing quality hair services, stylists must take personal responsibility of: client education in regards to products and services, bringing in own clients in addition to clients acquired through the salon, participate in continuing education classes (continuing ed. will be on Mondays through Thursdays and are mandatory if it is a scheduled day off regularly), arriving 15 minutes before first client or start of shift, check in with management or closer before departing for the day, equal participant in working sidework, answer the telephone if receptionist is not available, send in weekly content for social media, etc.
