Memory Care Coordinator

As a Memory Care Coordinator you will provide personalized care to our residents who are living with dementia or other memory impairments.

ABOUT THE POSITION

This is a full-time position, that includes every other weekend and every other holiday. The Memory Care Coordinator (MCC) provides supportive oversight of Resident Assistants (RAs), focusing on training and retention, keeping RAs engaged, motivated and involved. This position works closely with our nursing and administrative team to ensure that our residents receive the highest quality care possible. Other responsibilities include oversight and tracking of various protocols, particularly any processes RAs are responsible for and taking appropriate corrective action as applicable.

HIGHLIGHTS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists in interviewing and hiring
• Perform administrative nursing tasks as directed such as scheduling appointments, filing/scanning, resident supplies, and other similar non-RN tasks
• Communicate to residents, families, and employees
• Liaison between direct care team and other departments
• Assist with training and in-services
• Help with oversight of resident cares, coaching and mentoring

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in senior care, dementia care, or Memory Care is required.
• Familiarity with medication administration protocols.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
