The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, a non-profit women's membership organization, has a full-time opportunity for a Membership Services Representative to provide a variety of data entry, clerical, and administrative duties in support of our national membership, officers, and prospective members.

This is an exciting opportunity for a customer service professional who is looking to expand their work experience into the non-profit field.

Candidates with experience working in a Membership Services organization, or a division of a non-profit organization or association, and have previous iMIS experience are highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process all incoming communications received by telephone, in writing, and in person.
  • Assists members and Society leadership regarding eMembership website.
  • Communicates with the membership regarding changes.
  • Guides prospective members through the membership process.
  • Maintains membership records to accurately reflect information changes, dues payments, and any positions held within the Society.
  • Processes annual membership dues.
  • Will create reports as needed from iMIS database.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong experience in a member or client services capacity with a high-volume of data entry and database management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of member or customer service experience, including explicit interactions with the public by phone, email, walk-in visitors, or related experience required.
  • Ability to use department systems accurately and effectively to process membership requests.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently, confidentially, and collaboratively with a broad range of people.
  • Well developed problem solving and organization skills. Must be able to handle multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines.
  • Excellent follow-up skills and ability to accurately and quickly proof work product.
