This position is primarily responsible for answering phone calls from members, dependents and providers of service. Accurate data entry of time sensitive material will also be a necessary requirement. This position requires a high degree of professionalism. Candidates at the end of training must be able to discuss all aspects of the Health and Welfare Plan including eligibility with the caller. Difficult and sensitive issues may be discussed during the phone call or in person. The candidate cannot be reserved about any topics of conversation. The candidate must be able to explain in detail the different Health and Welfare Plans. Once a candidate is trained, they must be able to work independently.
SKILLS:
· Knowledge of medical terminology is required.
· Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM tools is a plus, but not required.

· Be able to work Saturday overtime when scheduled.
Education / Length of experience:
· High School diploma or equivalent
· 3 – 5 years of prior customer service experience required
Salary: $27.35 per hour
Hours: Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm (overtime Saturday 8am to noon)
