Member Service Representative - Float

Saco Valley Credit Union, a 2023 Best Place to Work in ME, seeks to add a member to our Member Services team. This Member Services Representative will float between our three branch locations in Saco and Waterboro to assist in day-to-day branch operations.

The ideal candidate for this position will exercise good judgment in various situations, use superb communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and balance multiple competing priorities. This position develops and maintains relationships with our members. This position requires professionalism, flexibility, initiative, and great teamwork.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Receive and process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
• Maintain knowledge of credit union products and services.
• Ensure daily work balances at end of each day and resolve any balancing issues.
• Ability and willingness to offer products and services for exceptional Member Service.
• Strong communication skills and computer knowledge with the ability to multi-task.
• Assist members that are looking to apply for Consumer and Real Estate loans.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Must have a positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment.
• Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Some Saturday morning hours are required.
• Pay commensurate with experience.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a non-exempt/hourly-paid position. An additional $6/hour will be paid for work occurring on Saturdays. The Saturday hours are 7:45 a.m.- 12:15 p.m.; these times may vary based on opening and closing responsibilities. Some Saturday hours are required and are based on scheduled needs. Travel to all branch locations will be occasional.
