Salary Range:
The starting pay for a Member Service Officer is $21.36/hour and a Lead Member Service Officer is $26.32/hour; however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.
Education/Experience:
Applicable work experience may be substituted for education at the equivalent rate of two years of experience for one year of education. Applicable additional education levels may be eligible to satisfy experience requirements.

As a Member Service Officer, you will be responsible for the following:
Identify the member's financial needs and recommend and appropriate Credit Union solutions- Assist members with opening new accounts, taking loan application, and performing non-financial transactions
- Serve members in the safe deposit area
As a Lead Member Service Officer, you will be responsible for the following:
All aspects above as a Member Service Officer plus,- Serve in a leadership type of capacity as necessary, using increased authority levels, above those of a Member Service Officer, or Member Service Officer Floater, helping with complex transactions, answering questions, open and closing duties, and a supervisory type or higher capacity level when dealing with dual control items
- Assist with training other team members on a variety of topics needed to perform their duties
- Work more autonomously and be required to take on additional responsibilities associated with their position

Education/Experience:
You must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- For a Lead Member Service Officer – You must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), 30 earned credit hours of college, and four years applicable work experience equivalent to a Member Service Officer or Member Service Officer Floater are required.
Applicable work experience may be substituted for education at the equivalent rate of two years of experience for one year of education. Applicable additional education levels may be eligible to satisfy experience requirements.

In order to be successful as a Member Service Officer/Lead Member Service Officer, you must possess these qualifications:
Serve in a leadership type of capacity as necessary, using increased authority levels, above those of a Member Service Officer, or Member Service Officer Floater, helping with complex transactions, answering questions, open and closing duties, and a supervisory type or higher capacity level when dealing with dual control items- Proficient in Microsoft Office operating environment
- Ability to use and maintain basic, fundamental office equipment
- Flexibility to work a variety of schedules, including rotating Saturdays and ability to travel to various locations
