The Member Service Leader fulfills Pacific Crest's mission of providing our members and communities with the opportunity to prosper through direct work with members and potential members; listening, thinking, and taking action to meet needs and provide solutions. Plays an active role in community focused initiatives to promote growth and awareness. Motivate and lead team members by example in an effort to meet and or exceed credit union goals.

Essential Job Functions
- Actively lead and influence others in the fulfillment of Pacific Crest's mission.
- Receive and process member financial transactions as well as assist them with electronic services, loan services and wire requests.
- Achieve or exceed the established sales goals through deepening of member relationships through increased adoption and usage of products and services that meet member needs.
- Assist the Branch Manager in managing the branch certifications.
- Lead, promote, and participate in projects or events that benefit the community.
- Manage unique member situations and support team members.
Qualifications
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of financial services or related experience
- 2 Year degree or comparable professional training preferred
- A cooperative, positive attitude toward members and fellow employees using sound interpersonal skills
- Ability to train, motivate, and influence people as part of a team
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- Proven attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service experience preferred
- Successfully work under a growth goal and incentive environment to meet branch objectives
- Strong analytical, decision making skills, making recommendations, solving complex problems
- Self-motivated to learn and grow within the position
- Superior written and verbal communication skills are required
- Excellent technical skills
SPECIAL FACTORS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) is necessary.
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
- Stooping; kneeling; crouching; and reaching below, at, and over shoulder level required.
- Sitting – 80%; standing and walking - 20%.
- Hearing, visual, and verbal ability required.
