Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Member Relations Assistant to join our client's team. This is a contract to hire opportunity with a flexible hybrid schedule, 3 days remote and 2 days in office. The ideal candidate will be able to start immediately.
The Member Relations Assistant will play a key role in maintaining strong relationships with our organization's members, ensuring their satisfaction, and supporting various initiatives aimed at enhancing their experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members across different departments.
Responsibilities:
Member Support: Provide exceptional support to members via various communication channels (phone, email, in-person) by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering assistance promptly and courteously.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with members by engaging in regular communication, seeking feedback, and proactively addressing concerns or suggestions.
Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date member records in the database, ensuring all information is entered correctly and in compliance with data protection regulations.
Event Coordination: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of member events, including conferences, seminars, webinars, and networking sessions.
Membership Renewal: Support membership renewal processes by sending reminders, processing payments, and following up with members to ensure retention.
Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to create engaging content for member communications, newsletters, and social media platforms.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the Member Relations Manager, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining documentation related to member activities.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving member satisfaction, retention, and engagement, and contribute ideas for enhancing programs and services.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues from other departments, such as marketing, events, and finance, to ensure alignment and synergy in member-related activities.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards in all member-related activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, marketing, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in customer service, Member Relations, or a similar role is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office suite and experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) preferred.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
Proactive attitude with a willingness to take initiative and solve problems independently.
Familiarity with association or membership-based organizations is a plus.
Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
