Member Experience Coordinator-serving the Metro Louisville Area

Join Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana by becoming one of our Membership Experience Coordinators - a position focused on recruiting new members (sales) and retaining our current members through exceptional customer service. Position requires candidate to live in Metro Louisville area.

Summary-Recruitment and Support! As a Membership Experience Coordinator you will be hosting events and using sales techniques to recruit new members while also providing support to our current volunteers in your assigned geographic area.

Preferred Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Sales, fundraising, community outreach or commensurate experience
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Exceptional Customer Service skills
• Loves working with people and has awareness of DEI
• Willing to participate in community outreach and making connections
• Available to work a variable schedule that you help create - will include some nights and weekends
• Proficient using email, Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and learning new applications, platforms, etc.
• Able to understand, retain and follow processes.
• Have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and car insurance
• Conveniently located to access Eastern Jefferson County/Louisville in the area of Hikes Point, Jeffersontown and Spencer County. Knowledge of those areas is a plus.

Job Summary:

When we say no two days are alike for our Membership Experience Coordinators, we really mean it! For instance, you could find yourself planning out your sales/recruitment strategy for the next season, scheduling events, holding an informational meeting for parents, hosting a booth at a community event, building a relationship with a community partner, making check-in calls to volunteers, dropping flyers off at schools, leading an activity with girls, loading cases of Girl Scout cookies into cars, solving a problem for a troop leader, or attending a meeting with key volunteers.

You will work from home and in the field traveling within your assigned geographic area. Your schedule will be variable, including some nights and weekends, and offers a great deal of flexibility.
