Job Title: Member Advocate
Location: Addison, TX
Pay: $22.00-$26.00
Schedule: Mon - Fri, Flexibility for shifts between 8am-8pm (Shifts)
Training: Mon-Fri, 9am-5:30pm (2/3 weeks)
Job Description:
Ensure that plan members meet plan eligibility requirements to receive medication(s)
Coordinate access to alternate funding programs; provide assistance to members and physician staff to complete all necessary financial assistance program forms
Coordinate delivery and verify receipt of financial assistance forms and applications to members, physician offices, and financial assistance programs
Maintain a regular cadence of communication with members, physician offices, and financial assistance programs to manage the status of each member
Utilize Salesforce to accurately document/record all interactions with members, health care providers, pharmacies, and financial assistance entities
Verify pharmaceuticals/prescriptionsdispenses to members
Resolve inbound calls from members, physicians, and programs as necessary
Requirements:
Minimum 2+ years medical office assistant, specialty/infusion pharmacy intake, or healthcare reimbursement
2+ years customer service experience in a health care or health insurance environment
College degree preferred
Spanish Bilingual preferred
