Meeting and Events Planner

As a Meeting and Events Planner at FMH, you will work closely with the Meeting and Events Team to plan, organize, and executive high-quality corporate meetings and events.

REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: A minimum of one to five years of logistical event planning experience, and or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Education: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business Management, Communications, or Marketing highly preferred (high school degree required).
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Strong customer service skills are necessary, along with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task, work independently, and handle stressful situations. For specific events, must be willing to work nights and weekends.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participates in meetings with stakeholders to plan and execute meetings and events for both internal and external customer-facing meetings and events.
- Acquires information from hotels, venues, caterers, and keynote speakers, and communicates program needs to vendor partners.
- Assists with agenda development, registration tracking, hotel accommodations, venue sourcing, food and beverage selections, decor, signage, and equipment needs.
- Collaborates on the development and implementation of the messaging, promotions, and communications for meetings and events.
- Builds event registration sites in accordance with corporate branding standards.
- Assists with coordination of travel and transportation needs for planned activities.
