SalaryResponsibilities:
- Perform physical examinations and assessments of patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Insert and manage intravenous (IV) lines for medication administration
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment
- Provide care for patients with various medical conditions, including post-operative care, wound care, and chronic disease management
- Perform triage assessments to determine the urgency of patient needs
Skills:
- Proficient in performing physical examinations and assessments
- Strong knowledge of medical records management and documentation
- Experience in IV insertion and management
- Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) use and maintenance
- Ability to perform gastric lavage procedures when necessary
- Skilled in triage assessments to prioritize patient care
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques and strategies
- Understanding of sterile processing techniques for infection control
- Comprehensive knowledge of human physiology and anatomy
