About Us:

Position Summary:
The Charge Nurse assumes two main job duties, patient care and administrative. The Charge Nurse has accountability for the overall efficiency and the quality of patient care administered on the unit and shift. Assists in planning, organizing, and coordination of direction of the clinical and administrative functions of their nursing unit.
Position Duties (Not all Inclusive):
- Overseeing nursing staff and monitoring their needs.
- Handling patient concerns.
- Managing Department.
- Flow-Monitoring Patient Care.

Qualifications:
- Texas RN Licensure without restrictions (required).
- One (1) to three (3) years clinical experience in assigned area, including Charge Nurse experience (required).
- Current AHA BLS (CPR) certification (required).
- Current AHA ACLS certification (preferred).
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (required).
