Medium Duty Box Truck Driver

Drives ministry trucks to donorlocations and picks-up donated items. Performs all preventive maintenancechecks and informs supervisor of items needing repair and items that createsafety deficiencies. Perform allreasonably related duties as assigned.

• Performsdaily inspection of truck using the DOT inspection form.
• Operatestruck to acquire donations for the ministry
• Makesdeterminations regarding if the donations are acceptable based on WRMs qualitystandards
• Loadsand unloads donations in a systematic way that promotes best use of space andminimizes damage to the donated items.
• Mustbe able to communicate with donors in a professional manner.
• Fillsout daily reports regarding vehicle routes and donation.
• Maintainsprofessional appearance and hygiene.
• Maintainsappearance of the truck.
• Maintainsall equipment used on the truck (straps, dollies, furniture covers)
• Providesexcellent customer service while assisting customers
