We are looking for a highly motivated and hospitality-driven Contract Meditation Instructorto join our team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Be responsible for planning and leading meditation sessions in one or more assigned studios.
- Set up and monitor equipment, ensuring it's returned in serviceable condition.
- Distribute handouts or class evaluations when necessary and address participant inquiries after each session, assisting in post-session follow-up and communication as needed.
- Helping participants understand the benefits of meditation and how to apply it to their lives.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Recognized competency in the field of instructional expertise. May require technical certification dependent on the instructional specialty.
- Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that is above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.
- Current Group Instructor Insurance.
- Proficiency in administering first aid procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, effectively collaborating with diverse communities.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and handle routine administrative tasks.
- Previous experience teaching meditation classes in large groups.
- Understanding of meditation principles and their application.
- Availability to work Thursday evening classes at 7 PM ET.
