Medication Technician

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Technician to join our team in a private setting. As a Medication Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with medication administration. Duties:
- Administer medications according to prescribed dosages and schedules
- Document medication administration accurately and maintain medication records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses and doctors, to ensure comprehensive care for residents
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in home care, memory care, or a similar healthcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and practices
- Ability to accurately document medication administration and maintain records
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with resident, families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals with developmental disabilities or memory impairments
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
