GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Be responsible for the medication administration and treatment program to the residents. Assist the entire care giving department to ensure that the residents are safe, well cared for and comfortable. Complies with federal, state and local standards for facility operation. Incorporates the Generation’s mission, vision, and values in the daily work and interactions with others.
Essential Duties:
- Provide assistance to residents with their activities of daily living as required by each resident’s care plan.
- Maintains adequate supply of medications and supplies vital to proper resident care. Administer medications & treatments to residents and update med tech taking next shift on resident med status/task assignments. Ensure that all medications and treatments are administered as outlined and reports medical errors to supervisor as soon as that are noted.
- Responsible to know and provide services that are required by each resident for his or her care. This includes but is not limited to activities of daily and; vitals signs, mobility, bathing, dressing, light housekeeping, laundry services, incontinent care, and hygiene. Provides the services as outlined in the resident care plan.
- Ensure a clean, safe and aesthetically pleasing environment for residents.
- Adhere to additional duties assigned by the Community Nurses and Director.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be able to speak, read and write at a basic level in the English language.
- Flexible schedule/availability to work on weekends and holidays.
- Training in administration of medication and treatments; including delegation techniques.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Year of Caregiver work experience is preferred, or relevant education/training in lieu of work experience.
- Actively encourage resident Vitality (wellness of mind, body and spirit).
- Ensure that residents are safe, cared for, and comfortable.
- Continually demonstrate strong organizational and teamwork skills that promote positive and productive work force.

Pay: $17.65 - $23.29 per hour
