Responsibilities: - Administer medications to residents according to prescribed dosage and schedule - Monitor and record vital signs of residents - Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming - Provide emotional support and companionship to residents - Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and resident care - Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and families - Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Certification as a Medication Technician or completion of a medication administration training program - Experience working with people with developmental disabilities, memory care, assisted living, or hospice care is preferred - Knowledge of medication systems and procedures - Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
