Medication Aide

Duties:
- Administer medications to patients according to prescribed orders and protocols
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications
- Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and patient responses
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure proper medication management
- Assist with phlebotomy procedures as needed
- Utilize electronic medical record systems such as Cerner or Epic for documentation and communication

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols
- Ability to accurately calculate medication dosages
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Note: Experience working with special needs patients or in an acute care setting is preferred.

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
