Medicare Biller/Collector

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented person to join our team. As a , you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient medical coding and billing processes. Experience in Long Term Medicare for nursing homes a must

Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate documentation of diagnoses, procedures, and treatments thru Triple check.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify any discrepancies or missing information
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
- Bill all Medicare claims and follow up with denied claims
- Post payments onto our AR System

Qualifications:
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification preferred
- Proficient in DRG coding, medical terminology, and ICD-10 systems
- Strong knowledge of ICD-9 coding system is a plus
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is required
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
