Medical Transcriptionist / Medical Assistant (Cypress Men's T Clinic)

As a Medical Transcriptionist you will be responsible for providing assistance with data entry into the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

One week of hands of on the job (paid) training is provided.

This is a unique role of Medical Transcriptionist / Medical Assistant. The specific hours worked can be flexible as long as it is Monday through Friday.

Attention to detail and strong skills at data entry, typing and navigating the EHR (Advance Md) are needed.

The ability to travel to the Pasadena, Heights, Spring and Pearland clinics (1 day per month) is required. (Additional travel pay)

A typical day:

8am to 10am: Medical Assistant Duties helping to treat existing patients.

10am to 1pm: Complete transcription duties for 3 or more clinics.

or

8am to Noon: Complete transcription duties for 3 or more clinics

or

10am to 2pm: Complete transcription duties for 3 or more clinics.

This role is for Monday through Friday located at the Cypress Men's T Clinic, roughly 3-4hrs per day of Transcription.

As the company continues to expand, this position will expand to a full-time role.

Responsibilities

• Document basic medical history
• Responsible for reviewing patient data
• Transcribe patient data into EHR
• Complete documenation notes in the EHR, per guidelines
• Upload patient data into EHR system

Skills

• Have prior experience or training as a Medical Assistant
• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to input data entry and type accuratly and efficiently.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift

Experience:

• Documentation review: 1 year (Preferred)
• Phlebotomy: 1 year (Preferred)
• Experience administering injections: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Cypress, TX 77429: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location: In person
