Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers in documenting patient encounters by accurately transcribing medical information.
- Enter patient information, medical history, and examination details into electronic medical records systems.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and complete documentation of patient visits.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive patient information.
- Organize and manage medical records, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Scribe or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is required.
- Proficient typing skills to accurately transcribe medical information in a timely manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems or willingness to learn.
