Our growing practice is seeking a full-time or part-time medical or surgical retina, for the care of our busy and expanding retina patients. . The practice consists of multiple comprehensive ophthalmologists with subspecialties in cornea/cataract and 4 full-time optometrists. Our volume of retina referral is significant, and we have an elderly population in need of retina care and injections. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and established practice. There are no on call requirements. Supportive staff of 70 and state-of-the-art locations and equipment: FA (digital), 2 Optos machines, 4 OCT’s (Heidelberg), B scan, Green laser (direct and indirect), procedure room in the office and full availability for adding retina procedures at our ASC. Work with 8 techs, all highly trained and qualified
Requirements include completion of an approved residency, a retina fellowship and ABO certification or eligibility. A New York medical license is required in order to begin seeing patients. We are seeking a well-trained ophthalmologist who has high ethical standards, is hard-working, mature, able to handle a busy patient load, a good communicator who can work independently and who is committed to participate and contribute to the strategic planning and business development and management of the practice.
