Headlands ATS is seeking a FULL TIME Medical Records Support Specialist. This is primarily an administrative position performing back office duties.
Essential Job Functions:
- Receive and execute patient documentation requests (i.e. FMLA, short term disability claims, doctor's letter) in a timely manner
- Working under the business information management division to complete various administrative tasks
- Other patient-related compliance duties
Successful Candidate MUST have the following:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work history
- At minimum 1-2 years of healthcare setting handling patient care
- Proficiency with EMR software, Microsoft Office, pdf editor
- EXCELLENT communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- EXTREME attention to detail
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance
Ideal Candidate will have the following:
- Medical Assistant certification
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
- Ability to quickly build and maintain good rapport with others
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
