Medical Record Clerk position available. Duties include:
- Organize and maintain Medical Records in a healthcare facility
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of patient information
- Retrieve and file Medical Records as needed
- Scan and input medical documents into electronic health record systems
- Respond to requests for Medical Records from authorized individuals or organizations
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
Experience:
- Previous experience working with Medical Records or in a medical office setting is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of basic healthcare procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
This position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Medical Records in a healthcare environment.
