Medical Phone Receptionist

The Medical Phone Receptionist receive phone calls to make appointments for patients with a warm welcome, compassion, organizing and scheduling skills. The position will primarily be on phones, but will also include managing online scheduling, other front office duties such as patient check-out, scanning and faxing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verify eligibility and insurance information is correct.
• Answer phones and convey messages to appropriate parties.
• Answer phones and schedule patients as needed.
• Assist as needed to check-out patients if there is a queue.
• Handle various administrative duties such as scanning and faxing
• Deliver compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families.
• Ensure compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA

HOURS

• Monday - Friday
• Start Time: 8:30a
• End Time: Varies between 4p-6p
• Total hours: 30-40 hours

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
