Position: Temporary Part-Time Receptionist

Responsibilities:

As a Part-Time Receptionist in our primary care facility, you will be an essential part of our team. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Answering Phones: Professionally and courteously handle incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate department or individual.
• Greeting Patients: Provide a warm and welcoming environment by greeting patients upon their arrival, ensuring their comfort while waiting, and addressing their initial inquiries.
• Insurance Eligibility: Verify and confirm patients' insurance coverage, ensuring accuracy and compliance with billing procedures.
• Appointment Management: Efficiently schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinating with medical staff to optimize scheduling.
• Document Management: Scan and file important documents, maintaining an organized and accessible filing system.
• Patient Care Coordination: Assist in the coordination of patient care by communicating effectively with healthcare providers, ensuring smooth patient flow, and addressing patient needs and concerns.
• Workplace Hygiene: Maintain high standards of workplace hygiene and sanitation, adhering to healthcare facility guidelines.
• Billing (preferred): Experience in medical billing is a plus, as it will be advantageous in this role.

Job Type: Part-Time

Salary: Starting at $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 am - 5 pm
• Monday, Wednesday, Friday Schedule
• Occasional Saturday shifts are 8 am - 1 pm

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Preferred: 1 year of experience in Medical Office work

Work Location: In-person
