Job Title: Medical Technologist
Duties:
- Perform various laboratory tests and procedures in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Conduct urine drug screening and high-complexity analyses to detect and measure specific substances in patient samples.
- Utilize laboratory management systems to organize and track samples, results, and other data.
- Analyze data and interpret test results to provide accurate and reliable information for patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Maintain quality control measures to ensure accuracy and precision of laboratory tests.
- Follow established protocols and procedures for specimen collection, handling, processing, and storage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology or related field.
- Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) required.
-Florida Technologist license in Clinical Chemistry required. FL Supervisor's license in Chemistry preferred.
- Knowledge of clinical laboratory techniques.
- Proficient in data management and analysis skills using laboratory information systems (LIS) or other relevant software.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for clinical laboratories (CLIA, CAP, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
