Job Description
Duties
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Collect, process, and analyze samples, including blood, urine, and tissue specimens.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Prepare reagents, solutions, and media for testing purposes.
- Maintain accurate records of test results and data management.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Experience
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Laboratory Technician or similar role in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Proficiency in performing various laboratory techniques, such as blood sampling, hematology, chemistry, microbiology, coagulation, urinalysis, and blood banking.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and quality control procedures.
- Ability to accurately record and manage data using laboratory information systems (LIS).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Note: Experience in phlebotomy or working in a hospital setting is a plus.

Travelers must have their own mode of transportation. We do not have public transportation. Closest public trans is 45 miles away. Winters in MT require a vehicle to get around in the snow!!! Bring winter clothes during the winter months.
