We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician MLT to join our team! You will be responsible for performing medical tests for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize blood, and other bodily fluid samples from patients
- Prepare samples for routine testing and analysis
- Properly record results for further analysis and easy reference
- Monitor inventory samples and supplies
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Machines in our lab: Beckman Access 2-thyroid, sed rate, clinitek, A1C
B12, folate, vitamin D Beckman AU480- Chemistry, lipid, iron, etc.Sysmax--CBC, Antibody machine from Theratest - Work under the supervision of a medical technologist
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a clinical technician or in other related fields
- Familiarity with common medical terminology
- Experience in a laboratory setting
- Strong organizational skills
We are the largest rheumatology practice in Prince George's County, with four offices located in Annapolis, Greenbelt, Laurel and Clinton, Maryland. Our Physical Therapy office is in Greenbelt MD. We are rebuilding our Physical Therapy practice, we need your help to make it grow.
