Actalent is currently partnering with a laboratory in the Nashville area in need of multiple Medical Lab Scientists to join their team. Please see below for details and qualifications
Description:
- Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing
- Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions
- Monitor operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
- Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving
- Prepare test and evaluate new reagents or controls
- Report accurate and timely test results to deliver quality patient care
- Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures
- Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary
- Assist with processing of specimens when needed
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Lab Science, or Medical Technology required
- ASCP or AMT and TN license required
- 2+ years of experience preferred
Details:
- Intermediate Level
- Multiple shifts available
- $34-40/hr, BOE/shift
