SalaryWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Medical Intake Supervisor in a Sugar Land business office . As the Intake Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the patient intake process in a small Call Center, ensuring smooth operations within the department and organization.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the intake process and staff, including patient registration, insurance verification, and scheduling appointments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Coordinate with staff to ensure timely and efficient patient care
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients and other healthcare professionals
- Support the Billing Office Manager as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical is required
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of Medical Intake procedures and protocols
- Familiarity with physical therapy services is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
