Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to medical professionals
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is collected.
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Assist with prior authorizations for surgeries.
- Order and maintain office supplies and equipment.
- Follow office policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare providers.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
