Medical Front Office Associate

We are a busy, full-service Otolaryngology and Hearing Services practice, located in beautiful Flathead County. We have an opening in the Front Office for a full-time experienced person with a friendly and energetic personality.

Glacier Ear, Nose & Throat, Head & Neck Surgery has proudly served the Flathead Valley for fifty years. Our physicians are certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and specialize in the medical and surgical treatment for ear, nose and throat disorders.

Glacier Ear, Nose & Throat strives to achieve our mission of providing quality care of the ear, nose & throat, as well as head & neck specialty in a caring manner which maintains the dignity of all who come into our clinic.

Sample of Duties

• Answer and screen telephone calls, take messages, and provide appropriate information to phone callers, as well as handling outgoing phone calls as appropriate
• Schedule appointments for patients
• Check-in and/or check-out patients
• Maintaining patient demographic and medical record information
• Collection of co-payments
• Provide great customer service to our patients in a friendly, courteous, and helpful manner

Requirements

• Ability to use a multi-line phone system
• Strong organization, multi-tasking, and typing skills
• Knowledge and skills using Electronic Medical Records and other computer based programs
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Accuracy with attention to detail
• Confidentiality with both internal and patient information
• A professional attitude towards patients and colleagues as well as tact, diplomacy, and empathy
• Personal and professional integrity
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attendance
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screening

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
