Medical Front Desk Receptionist -This will require you to travel in both office locations which are in Glen Burnie, Mondays and Tuesdays 9am-6pm and Ellicott City, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 9am-5pm. Please verify you are able to accomodate this commute.
This established practice is seeking an experienced Medical Front Desk receptionist who can function effectively. Responsibilities Include:
Scheduling patients for office appointments & surgical procedures
Handling patient recall for cancelled and missed appointments
Verifying & documenting patient insurance coverage and benefits
Securing patient insurance referrals & authorizations as required
Interfacing with the offices of primary care physicians and other medical specialists
Maintaining patient paper and electronic charts
Preparing & reviewing superbills for submission to insurance companies
Scheduling administrative appointments for the practice
Discharging patients
Ordering & stocking both office and clinical supplies
Requirements:
High School Diploma
1-3 years medical office experience
Computer literate. Familiar with EHRs & MS applications such as Word & Excel
Excellent Interpersonal Skills
Ability to complete work efficiently within a timely manner
Punctual

Highly organized with extreme attention to detail
Ability to work well with others
Willingness to learn & multitask
