Our Houston office is small but business is increasing and the Company may be opening other regions within Tx. The repair technician will handle most /all of the Company's Texas repair needs.
```Job Summary:```
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Equipment Technician to join our team. As a Medical Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing Medical Equipment used in healthcare facilities. Your expertise in DME (Durable Medical Equipment) and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) guidelines will be crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of Medical Equipment.
```Responsibilities:```
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Medical Equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues
- Follow OEM guidelines and specifications for equipment repair and maintenance
- Calibrate and test Medical Equipment to ensure accuracy and functionality
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and service history
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand equipment needs and provide technical support
- Install, set up, and configure new Medical Equipment as needed
- Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions
- Provide training to healthcare staff on the proper use and care of Medical Equipment
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
```Skills:```
- Strong knowledge of DME (Durable Medical Equipment) and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) guidelines
- Proficiency in equipment repair, calibration, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Ability to use hand tools for equipment maintenance and repair
- Experience in field service or similar role preferred, auto mechanics are encouraged to apply
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software is a plus
